About

Binky Griptight sleeps in Missoula, MT where he found himself commenting on lots of blogs. Now they can do the same on his. If the verb is, to bink, then the past tense is bunk, isn’t it? Binky did that. … Oh wait, maybe it’s debunk?

Megan lives in Montana, too, and finds herself spending more and more of her free time researching political issues and counting down the days until November 4.

  1. Your article “Republican, Democrats, National Debt, and Fiscal Responsibility” is superb. Is there any way I can link it to my Facebook page? Aside from just putting the link there manually, i mean? 🙂
    Thanks,
    Rich

    • Hi Rich,
Thanks for the compliment on my article. Of course you can link it on your Facebook page. As for technical stuff, I don’t really know how to put it in other than the manual way you suggested where you go to your profile and click “post link.”
      Best,
      Megan

  2. The only point I noticed about your debt/republican article/comment was that Reagan and Bush II had some significant adversaries they were dealing with at the time. Reagan and the cold war was at a pretty good pace when he came into office and in his time the Berlin Wall came down; and all of us know about Bush and 911 and terrorism. While we have a lot of opinion in hind-sights he did take on terrorism and not sure if all know but Clinton agreed 100% so address that first then tell me about Bush!

LBJ lost the war in Viet Nam w/ Kennedy, Carter suffered tremendously w/ Iran as they made him say uncle many times over and Clinton got so wrapped up w/ the Monica affair he couldn’t have launched a war against terrorism if they would have knocked him over with a push!!

So, just some quick observations. However, I’m pretty PO’d w/ all politicians because none of them ever ever manage government. And there’s better ways and more ways to do it besides and in addition to just eliminating wasteful programs. But I have to still conclude, I’m pretty disappointed at republicans because they haven’t done it anyway. Government thinks it’s the Rock-Star of all our lives 24/7, I would like to see a tax so anyone could run for office.

Here we are not knowing where B.O. got his money and we’re not even sure he’s from the U.S. why doesn’t he release his birth cert. freely and yesterday.

All politicians are after our butts, you better be careful.

  3. We are having a walk in Billings this Saturday and I was hoping you could put it on your blog and maybe tell your friends out in Billings to join us:
Senators Baucus and Tester need to hear that Montanan’s support strong legislation which will save us all money AND create jobs by putting people to work retrofitting homes for energy efficiency. They need to hear from Montanan’s that we want clean energy jobs, and for our Senators stand up to the corporate polluters who seek to weaken the bill. They need to hear that we want carbon emissions cut back 20% — OR MORE — by 2020.

This Saturday Nov. 7, we will be dropping literature across Billings urging people to contact their Senators and show them that there is broad support for clean energy and green jobs. We need your help to distribute this call to action to as many people as possible.

    When:
    This Saturday Nov. 7
    11AM-3PM

    Where:
Meet at the Sierra Club Office at 11AM
    2401 Montana Ave
    Billings, MT 59101
On the second floor in Suite 4

    Contact:
    Mike Scott
    Mike.Scott@sierraclub.org
    Office number: 406.248.9230
    Cell: 406.839.3333

We will provide a lunch afterwards to thank all of those who participate. Please RSVP and let us know if you will be able to provide transportation, or if you need a ride.

    Let me know, thanks!

  4. Bunk IN the West,

I just have a quick question for you but couldn’t find an email so had to resort to this. I am a progressive blogger. Please email me back at barbaraobrien@maacenter.org when you get a chance. Thanks.

    Barbara
